16 - 1/4 cup sliced black olives
17 - 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
18 - 1/4 cup chopped green onions
19 - 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro

# How To Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 425°F.
02 - Toss fries with vegetable oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
03 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking up with a spoon, until browned for about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
04 - Stir taco seasoning and water into beef. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat.
05 - Transfer baked fries to an oven-safe platter or keep on the baking sheet. Top evenly with taco beef, then sprinkle both cheeses over the top.
06 - Return to oven for 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
07 - Remove from oven. Add tomatoes, black olives, jalapeños, green onions, and cilantro. Drizzle or dollop with sour cream. Serve immediately while hot.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The seasoning blend on the fries makes them addictive on their own, so every bite has flavor even before the toppings
  • Everything comes together in under an hour, leaving you more time to actually enjoy the party instead of being stuck in the kitchen
02 -
  • Don't skip draining the beef after cooking, or you'll end up with soggy fries and disappointed guests
  • Work quickly once the fries come out the second time—they need to be hot enough to melt the final toppings
03 -
  • Pre-shredded cheese has anti-caking agents that prevent smooth melting, so grate your own from blocks if you have time
  • Let the beef mixture cool slightly before piling on the fries so it doesn't make the soggy spots worse
